placed at the trailhead of Duncan Trail. hope you enjoy the area.

I was drawn down to this area after noticing a geocache about 2 miles from this location. WOW what a hike and what a place to explore! My hope with this series of caches is to draw more people down to this wonderful area it is truly an adventure. this is a quick hide at the begining of a wonderful trail. inside I have placed a geocoin 2015 for the FTF.

With similar hides at all the other Gunnison Gorge Kiosks, have long had this one on our bucket list but never enough incentive to take the time to make the drive to get it. With the nearby "The Black Canyon Rocks!" available we decided the incentive was there so came. Had newbie iMacKid out for the very first time teaching Geocaching 101, they made the find before we had time to even begin looking! Also managed to get the FTF nearby, a true three for twofer! TFTC visited bugs, kekj

Quick find, but you will definitely need a booster for this one. Very busy place today, seven cars in the parking area. Looking forward to the hike ahead. TFTC

This was our first visit to the area. We thought we'd be able to pay for the day use pass with our Ntl Park Pass but that does not apply. So be sure to bring some cash or a check. Fee in 2015 is $3.00/person for day use in the area. More for overnight backpacking.
