My intention was to make this a milestone of 300, but I miscounted and found too many caches on the previous day. Oh well, it was well worth it travelling to this location, amazing views, rough trail. Seems that a lot of hikers find this cache as it has had quite a few logs in the past two years. The hikers seem to be very respectful about logging the book and taking and leaving in an appropriate manner. While planning this trip, I emailed some past finders, asking about the route up the mountain, as it is essentially unmarked on any maps. User juhhi responded with his insights and what a coincidence, I found his trackable in the cache after two years. Very cool. Even though CO appears to be inactive, the community has kept this cache going. Much appreciated, as it is unlikely that I ever would have ventured to the top of this mountain if there wasn't a cache to draw me there. Finished the loop around Sheep Mountain, stopped by the Crystal Mill, and had an amazing day with my wife. Thanks to all.

This was something! Ride around the Sheep mt. and find the trail up to Inspiration point. Trail was good but at the begin there was huge tree across the trail. So we had hike up to the GZ. We were surprised that up there were couple of hikers coming towards us. Had a little chat and we went to amazing Inspiration point. Cache was in good condition and I take coin and put TB. H=4. Thanks for an adventure!

This is what caching is all about! Usually when I come up here thr Sheep Mountain trail is covered in snow. We had a fantastic view of Crystal City from Inspiration Point not far from this cache. Left an Alaska patch. TFTC!!
