Fred's parents favorite hike when just kids. Great old favorite picnic location.
Very steep to reach, some people may need a rope, but we have never used one. May be above you but not over your head, below you but not under your feet. Go left, go right. NEVER use somebody else's old rope.
Will surprise you if you never knew it was there.
Contains trackable with a mission.

Thanks for bringing me here and the history. Was a much easier climb by starting by the weather station

Pouring rain on a color sunday. The views and the aspens are breathtaking. Both Haulers are old miners and we would like to suggest that it is never a good idea to enter old mine tunnels for any reason. There are lots of things that will get you. On a lighter note it looks like the old miners here were following a vein of quartz which quite often carries gold, silver and other precious metals. They never found much or the mine would still be in operation. SL TNLN Thanks for the fun!Smile

Last year at this time there was too much snow, but today hardly any snow and walked right to it. I dropped a coin. If its still there next year I'll picked it back up. TFTC SL

Great spot with beautiful views. We accidentally found it and added a bottle opener. Anyone know the history of the cabin?

Be careful on the climb. Great spot. Adjacent to the cabin.
Did not attempt trackable mission.
