From the time when kids had to walk up hill both ways to school in a blizzard, the Yuma County Historical society has set out to locate and mark as many country schools as possible.

Other than the old foundation across the fence there isnt much history left on this school. It ran from 1924 untill 1955 when it consolidated with Yuma

Another day of caching as I head homeward from a week long excursion in Utah capturing new counties along the way. I saw all these {FTF} caches south of Yuma and could not resist doing at least one. Not enough time to chase them all. I replaced the tiny logsheet with a more proper rite-in-the-rain logsheet. All is good here. TFTC
