As usual, I'm a little late logging this. Brilliant name for your cache! When I first read the cache description it made me smile until I realized there were two ways of approaching it and one is way shorter than the other in terms of using your legs. If I can, I'll always take the shorter way. The drive and the hike were both beautiful with the aspens beginning to change. Just had to take photos from the area near the cache. Thank you for bringing us out there. Favorite for sure.

Estes01 and I met up today to go after this one. We decided to head down from Schubarth Road vs. taking the scenic route, though I have to say our way was plenty scenic with aspens nearing their peak and the reservoir water in the background. The cache was at an interesting spot and we didn't really like hanging around downhill from that thing! Took 1 trackable and left 2. Definite favorite here! TFTC!

FTF!

I set one of my personal goals to find one thousand nine hundred and fifty three first to finds.

Of course, I wanted that find to be special and this one was all of that.

After a nice morning hike, then searching in an interesting spot, I found the fat 50cal cache.
