An easy find at the end of a challenging hike

An easy hide near the trail from the ridge atop Raspberry Mountain or from the trail head on Mount Herman Rd. Not recommended to search for this with snow on the ground.

I came up the trail from Rockridge road then up the trail to the top of Raspberry Mountain, then south toward Mount Herman. The trail angles toward the west side of Mount Herman.

This is the third in the Alphabet Animal's cache series.

Out for an afternoon of burning extra energy with a fellow great friend and caching colleague who is wise in the caching ways. We were able to avoid the rain that happened down below, but did hear the thunder rolling above while spying unique forest treasures along the way. Thank you for placing this cache out here for us to find today.

10:25 AM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

Today I am hiking/caching around Mt Herman with WingsAndTails.

She had found this one last September, but allowed me to make the grab.

I knew once I got on top it should be a pretty nice hike but the route I chose to get here was a bear. Pretty warm day too. Nice size cache that needed some swag so I left a sticker from a past geocaching trip.
