Not too hard to find up Tigwon Road on the way to various trailheads in White River National Forest.
Cache contains information about the correct route to Mount of the Holy Cross and trade items. Many times each summer Vail Mountain Rescue is called out to search for lost or injured hikers attempting to summit this 14er. Special note here: most people get in trouble on the way down. The correct route is hard to see from the top.

While getting injured can happen to the best of us, it is possible to virtually eliminate lost hikers. Be sure to read the trailhead board closely at the parking area at the top of Tigwon Road and note that there are 2 trailheads from the same parking lot. Fall Creek Trail is the standard route for Notch Mountain and the standard route for Mt of the Holy Cross is just west of that, AT THE LARGE SIGNBOARD.

Enjoy your day if you are on the way up and from VMR 311, may I have no reason to make contact with you other than a pleasant "hello" in passing on the trail.
