My oldest kid will be attending CU in the fall. We came to Boulder today because he has an orientation program that he had to attend. After I dropped him off I took advantage of the free time and went looking for this cache. I had no trouble solving the puzzle and hoped that the find would be equally trouble-free.

Your description said it was a short hike so I figured I was safe in shorts and flip flops. Well, the hike turned out to be longer than I expected and I was thrilled not to come across any creepy crawlies on the way to or from the cache. The sun was kind enough to stay hidden behind clouds on the way up the trail, and was anything but kind on the way back down.

With perfect coordinates and a great hint, this little guy showed itself in no time. In fact, it took longer to write my name on the log than it did to find the container. After I put everything back in place I hiked down to the car and was off to find a mini mart with a very large sofa machine. Thanks for the fun puzzle, hide, and getting me one cache closer to a thousand puzzle finds (this makes 995).

Solved the puzzle a while ago but was waiting to come back to the area. Found on the way down the hill with Evgnhiker as a prize for making it up and then down. Thanks for the fun puzzle and thanks for the hide!
