Cowboy was up at Rico picking up a pack mule and had headed back down river.  He arrived in Dolores to find all the hotel rooms were taken so he decided to camp by the river.  After a few hours of shut eye Cowboy was up and headed down  to Dove Creek.
The cache is a small camo container.  Mugglers may be present but there are many days when no one is looking.
