I found a place that I wanted to share with other Geocachers....it's a secret place.
You can cool your toes or more here when you return from your hike into the upper Dominguez Canyon.
The cache is located just east of the Dominguez Campground, on the Uncompahgre Plateau, at an elevation of 7000 Ft. No hiking required. To get there take Divide Rd, off of Hwy 141; it's a very smooth dirt road, about 12 miles in length.

The campground is a typical primitive BLM campground but the setting is perfect with many trees and a stream running through it, and it's right at the trailhead of the upper Dominguez Trail. I didn't see a single mosquito in two days and nights of hiking and camping.
I had a great time here and hope you will too.

Congratulations to Sunshinegirl2003, Em-A-Lily, Josh and KEJDad on the First To Find!! 8-) And, thanks for posting the great pictures!
