The Riverfront Trail system is an ongoing 25plus year-old Grand Valley wide project to provide an uninterrupted trail system from Palisade to Fruita and hopefully beyond as financing becomes available.

 Located along the Monument View trail section.  A great paved trail for walkers, hikers, etc. Connects to a whole system of river front trails in the Grand Valley. Users can select options up to a mile or several miles depending on time. Closest  access to this cache can be either from Walker Wildlife Area (west to cache) or Fruita (east to cache). Benches are available along the trail. Take along drinking water.

Found the container, reached for it and a black widow spider came crawling out! I don't think it bit me, but if this is the last post then you'll it got me. We signed the log "KC + SLY" and replaced. Be careful out there!

Out for a bike ride on a beautiful fall day. Found this cache with no trouble. Wish the bill was real! Thanks for the cache! Made it this far and my sister's bike tires were getting low. Thank goodness for a good Samaritan on a bike with a tire pump. So nice to meet people willing to go a bit out of their way to help!
