There are many easy caches in Lake City, so I decided to place a more challenging cache for those not faint of heart. Enjoy!

This is a medium sized cache. Located on an island I call Turtle Island. We used a canoe to get there. Watch out for choppy water.

so sad we didn’t look at the activity list. no cache here especially if it was a medium.... unless it was an underwater cache? there was an actual goose nest on the island though , which we didn’t disturb so maybe she used it as her base! lol. tftc even just so we got to use our kayaks and row out to the island for the hope of getting a smiley. our dog loves the kayaks and the water so it is always a fun time.

It is a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a canoe trip to the island. We put in at Lakeview Estate where we are staying. Calm easy paddle to the island. Found it without any problem. Ha ha. It's hard to miss. The log and inside the container was wet. About then the wind kicked up so I was able to dry them out. Dumped out some muggle treasure ( gummy bears) and screwed the lid on tight. Tftc

Paddled out to this one a few weeks ago.
Turtle island should be renamed Goose Poop island. Cache is in good shape but a lot of muggles have found it and filling log up. Difficulty should be a one. TFTC!

{FTF} Yeah! TFTC! Today is my day off and my usual geo-caching day. I took a look at the geo-caching map this morning and saw this available for a first-to-find and it was only placed yesterday! I loaded up the canoe and my muggle friend (MoonBeam) and our geo-dogs. It was the perfect day-off adventure with no rain. Our dogs love the water and one swam out to the island while the older dog sat in the canoe with us. I hadn't been here in forever, so thanks for giving me something awesome to do on my day off at a picture perfect lake. Favorite Point.
