A quick one on the way to the Quartz Quarry Cache.
This cache is located on the Colorado Trail on the way to the old quartz quarries. Parking is available at the South Platte Colorado Trail Trailhead. Bring lots of water and have a picnic at the top, where the views are spectacular.

Enjoyed a sunny day hiking along the trail to detoxify from a Thanksgiving feast. Snow in spots and LOTS of wind - but a great day to introduce a newcomer to geocaching. I think she is hooked! Cache is in fine shape. Fourth of the day as we headed to the car. Thanks for the hide!
