A nice view of the old quartz quarries.
Cache is about 30 feet off the Colorado Trail above GCKHK3 (Quartz Quarry Cache). Parking is available at the South Platte Colorado Trail trailhead. The hike is a bit of a challenge, but the destination is well worth the effort.

Enjoyed a sunny day hiking along the trail to detoxify from a Thanksgiving feast. Snow in spots and LOTS of wind - but a great day to introduce a newcomer to geocaching. I think she is hooked! Cache is in fine shape. Thanks for the hide!

Yay! I realized I past by this one on my way in. Got it after dark on my exit back to the car. So no view for me! I did see it onw in though, lol. TFTC :-)
