This is a challenge cache placed at the listed coords. You must demonstrate that you qualify for this challenge to claim a find. You may sign the log as a note at any time. The difficulty of the cache is a 1-1.5 star.
To qualify for this challenge you need to have found over 400 caches on a single date.
Power trail caching can be just as strenuous as hiking in the mountains all day. Two completely different things but just as rewarding. I love the diversity of our hobby.

Nearing cache #5,000 just before the GW-XVI Giga-Event, I'm determined to get my cache numbers closer to that goal, so EstesLynne & I headed out to the Pawnee Grasslands for this power trail of caches, which has also been on my list for several years. We picked the perfect spring day to be out on the plains - just gorgeous, with lots of meadow larks singing, painted buntings flitting about, and a few hawks soaring as well.
I have plans for the ET Highway someday soon, so being in the neighborhood, we thought we'd sign this one now. TFTC!

Just in case I ever do the ET highway, I signed this one. No way will I ever do 400 otherwise. If I even try, you will have to straightjacket me...

I was in Nevada last summer passing through Rachel and I convinced two Muggle friends to divert with me and do 24 hours of caching, midnight to midnight down the ET highway. on one hand it was fantastic... but extremely laborious and at times monotonous. I did just over 1200 basically riding on the step outside the door most of the time. even got delayed by a desert deluge. I don't think I will ever do it again, even with help... I did something like 250 in about 8 hours by myself on the lone star power trail. that was not fun at all after about number 60... anyways, A quick grab and a very busy day in the area. TFTC

I didn't realize how far out of the way all of these were. . . but we were upgraded to a huge SUV, so why not? The first time I was in this area, these challenges hadn't been placed yet. The next time I came, a huge storm was blowing in, and we were afraid the dirt roads would turn to mud, so we abandoned ship after only getting one of them. This time, I added a few more. They were not in great shape, and since no one had said anything, we didn't realize they needed new containers and logs. They are great challenges though.
My busy day is listed on my public profile page, but I'll try to post a picture when I get back home. Thanks for the fun.
