Just off a hiking trail in Blue River. I put the terrain rating at 1.5 for the elevation above 10,300 feet.
When I asked my wife (stoker to those familiar with tandem riding) what she wanted to do on her birthday, she said she wanted to hide a cache with our 6 year old grandson. This is our first hide, and the coordinates may be a little off because of interference with the trees (the best accuracy I could get was 15').
We replaced the original plastic storage container with an ammo box which our 6 year old grandson helped camo.
This trail leads up to Fredonia Mine and Breckenridge Mine. We believe the trail leads up to Red Mountain (13,222ft).

Second Colorado geocache with part of the wedding party!!!! Our good friends' first date was on a ski mountain. Then they were engaged on a ski mountain. This week they got married on a ski mountain!! We're staying in one of the mansion cabins nearby for the week. Thanks for the cache!

We wanted to hike up to the abandoned mine but didn't make it that far. We did see a mule deer and her fawn though!!
