Hermit Day When : Always October 29th Hermit Day is today. It's a quiet day to spend quietly in seclusion, all by yourself. For some people, being a recluse is a way of life. They spend everyday by themselves, in peaceful seclusion. For whatever reason, Hermits prefer living away from the crowds and the sea of humanity. For many of us who lead an increasingly busy lifestyle, the idea of being a "Hermit for a Day" is very tempting. The thought of getting away from it all, even if for just one day, is very appealing. Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Thanks so much for the hide poolsharkycat, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

Enjoying another day traversing the countryside, acquiring many miles and boosting cache numbers and others in between along the power trails!
Nothing better than caching along the back country roads of America! Thanks for placing these out here. Most were in good shape in these sections however i did replaced wet logs and broken containers as needed. Initialed logs

As I got close to this one, Cachly jumped and I wound up over shooting this one by 75 meters or so. Backed up and made the grab. TFTC - #1708.

I had a much needed geocaching adventure today. I drove over from Denver to Goodland (KS) last night. Got up this morning and continued east to Mingo. Wound up caching my way there and then back towards Denver, ending with a power trail-ish run between Limon and Deer Trail. Got to see lots of sunflowers and even some antelope along the way. Cachly was acting funny, I'm pretty sure it wasn't bringing up all the caches, but oh well. Wound up caching until the sun went down. Now for all those logs…
