A 4x4 is the recomended way to get to the cache area
Get in a high-clearance vehicle, 4x4 suggested
Take Mt. Herman road
Keep going to the side road 320 C
Go most of the way down this road
Then you will have to get out and go down to the right maybe 300 feet

Not your standard Witz Placement. This one was a combo effort of Buzz Lightyear 1 and Mr. WitzAbout during Witz-Pedition 4. We decided we wanted to make this a real 4x4-recomended challenge. And make it not too easy to find.

Thanks for a cache off the beaten path
We didn't go much past the cache as it was a bit washed out and we had no one else with us.
Left some swag and a pathtag and extag

Thanks for the cache! Was in the area to try for a different cache with CrumbCrunchers. Ran and lightning killed that plan so we grabbed this one instead. Quick find. Signed and replaced as found. All is well here. Thanks again.

Out roaming the mountains because it's too hot in town. Neat side road. Thanks for enticing us down here!

No, this is not a usual Witz cache, but a great cache nonetheless! Nice to end my caching day out on the west side of Mt Herman with this cache. A standard car will get you to the side road entrance and then a bike, by foot or other higher riding motorized transport would be best to the cache due to erosion in the middle of the road. tftc

I had been eyeballing this cache for some time, but I finally had the chance to come after it today. I made it down the road to the turnaround point in my Xterra with no problems. I was accompanied by my friend Big Elk, an occasional cacher sans account. He decided it would be a competition to see who could find the cache first, not wise pitting a 10+ year old GPS against a modern Garmin. Regardless, the competition helped us make the find quicker. We enjoyed the hunt and exploring the area around the GZ. The cache container and contents are still in good shape. Thanks to the CO (COs) for the nice cache and cool site selection.
