There are many nice hikes that you can try on Green Mountain. Just note that the trails are closed when muddy. This entrance is not as close to some of the regular trails up the mountain as others but it provides a nice walk through the meadow and there are various trails to the south that lead up some of the steeper routes up. The mountain is a carpet of flowers in May through July if the spring is wet enough. This is also a good place to access many loop walks to the east.

Longer walk (and a little jog) over here from the other cache than I was expecting. Right as we found the cache it started raining, we made sure to try to protect the log from the rain. This is our sixth out of seven! Due to the rain and it now being dark I don't know if we are going to get the seventh but we will see. Thanks for the cache!
