Congratulations on your 200th hide! You are on a roll!
On a mission today and this GD cache is the first of four that were on my list. Made the short hike here and found the cache. I love nice sized containers! I discovered a TB in the cache, but it's not listed in this one. So I picked it up (virtually) and dropped it and another TB.
Today, I was crawling in my own skin waiting for work to be finished so I could head west and find some caches. We started near the Mount Evans road turn off. The road is now closed for the season. We found a few nearby caches and then started our return journey toward Denver, grabbing caches along our route. Beautiful day and crisp weather up in the mountains. I can feel fall in the air.

Went for a drive on Squaw pass road today, pausing along the way for a few hikes - this was the second of ten geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Found this on my way back down from doing the 30-mile round trip from Echo Lake to Mt. Evans summit on my bike. I drove down from Echo, but wanted to stop for a geocache along Squaw Pass Road, and this looked interesting. It was. I love the forest along this route. I think those are Engleman Spruce trees nearby. They have so much character, and so did the rock outcrop (schist, I believe). Giving this a fave, and dropped a geocoin.

FTF at 8:42 am. Congrats on 200 hides, Geodog, and thank you for contributing so many great caches for us to find. I took the day off from work with the National Park Service to go hiking and do some of your other caches before they get buried in snow. I saw this and the Echo Ski Area ones pop up and figured I’d try for the FTFs before doing the other caches. I left a trackable and took one. Since I work for the NPS, I was drawn to the Mt. Rushmore National Memorial Junior Ranger badge. That site is emotional for Native Americans because it is a sacred place for them. But the NPS is getting better about involving Tribes in decisions now. Thanks for a fun sprint up the hill and a well stocked cache. Back down now for a day of caching fun...
