Should be a fairly easy park and grab (log only nano) at the entrance to Echo Mountain. We have been skiing there for the last couple of years, and it's really great having a place to make some turns 30 minutes from home!

I am a native snowboarder, but have never been to Echo Mountain. Happy to at least find a cache near the slopes.
Today, I was crawling in my own skin waiting for work to be finished so I could head west and find some caches. We started near the Mount Evans road turn off. The road is now closed for the season. We found a few nearby caches and then started our return journey toward Denver, grabbing caches along our route. Beautiful day and crisp weather up in the mountains. I can feel fall in the air.
Thanks for the cache!

Went for a drive on Squaw pass road today, pausing along the way for a few hikes - this was the eighth of ten geocaches that I found along the way - took a little detour on my way back down from GC8YJK2, saving a bit of gasoline, and getting me some additional free exercise. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Managed to get a hike in while the smoke had abated a bit and before all the tourists arrived for the holiday weekend. Thanks for giving me a another reason to take this trail and TFTC! BigSmile

FTF 8:25 am. This was my first cache of the day...a day that ended up being an epic adventure! Hiked on three new trails (new for me), saw bizzare and interesting things in the woods ranging from animal bones to a skate park, and only encountered one other person in the course of doing 22 caches. Thanks for getting me out the door a little earlier than I might have in order to try to get a mountain FTF, Geodog.
