Most are dog friendly and bike friendly but always check current rules and regulations before you begin any hike. The segments vary in length from 2-12 miles long. Most segments are easy to moderate but there are a few strenuous sections as well.

This segment runs from Chatfield State Park to Plum Valley trail.

From the outskirts of Highlands Ranch, along the East-West Trail. Segment ends with a gentle climb towards Highlands Point.

Difficulty: Moderate

Length: 6.5 miles.

Congrats to Winston4Ever for FTF!

Back on the trail trying to pick up a few more of the DOT caches. Managed to get this one, SL and returned as found. A terrific hide and we loved seeing that smiley looking back at us when we removed the log. Great job by YamaGypsy putting this series together. We are really enjoying the areas that have these many placements. This one gets a favorite, although they all should.
Thanks for the fun!

As I was approaching GZ, a girl was hanging out nearby, but she went up the trail as I got closer. Nice hide! Signed log. Thanks for the cache!

I’m in town visiting from California. We are back in Colorado after going to Minnesota for the Labor Day weekend. I thought I would go for this new hide while my daughter is working. I was hoping the cache would still have a clean log while I walked 2.6 miles to make the find. Yippee, [FTF]! A nice container! Thank for the new hide.
