Welcome to the Denver Orbital Trail or DOT for short. 177 miles of trails that circumnavigate Denver metro broken up into 28 segments. It was created from existing trails, parks and greenways. Most are dog friendly and bike friendly but always check current rules and regulations before you begin any hike. The segments vary in length from 2-12 miles long. Most segments are easy to moderate but there are a few strenuous sections as well. 

Segment #13 Arapahoe road Trailhead

This segment runs from Bar CC park to the Arapahoe road Trailhead.

You will follow the South Cherry Creek Trail from Bar CCC Park to Arapahoe Road Cherry Creek Trailhead.

Difficulty: Moderate

Distance 7.1 miles.

Rode my bike here today and spotted the hide, but it was under the direct gaze of a parked muggle who showed no signs of moving any time soon. No worries, I guess I will have to go bike this nice trail again!

CO-[FTF] 9-3-2024 at 8:40 am with OUT14ND3R. My FTF for September, thank you! I just walked the grandkids to school and returned home when I saw a bunch of caches were publishing. All over the place. I discovered one of them wasn't far away, so I headed that way. At the GZ I was able to park in a way to block the view of a waiting muggle. There was another mentally unbalanced muggle, but he was in a world that didn't include me. Didn't even look my way. Then I walked over and made the find as the sprinklers were going. It was refreshing. Very happy to have an FTF on a YamaGypsy cache! Great container.
