The cache is hidden about 200 feet from the wilderness boundary sign. Park at the trailhead pullout and hike the Linkins Lake/Lost Man Trail to the approximate location of the boundary sign. The hike is only 0.2 mile each way and involves an elevation gain of 120 feet vertical. The cache is a 1-liter biking water bottle, and has room for geocoins and small TBs. A pen is included. Please make certain to replace the small rocks on and around it, to keep the container from rolling downhill. If time permits, continue up the trail system to Linkins, Independence, and Lost Man Lakes. By doing this, you can appreciate a small portion of the beautiful terrain included in the Hunter-Arkansas Wilderness Area. Enjoy this special area!

MerryMary and I are on a two-week vacation to Colorado to enjoy the fall colors -- taking photos, camping, hoteling, hiking, and 4-wheeling. Today we spent the day in the Aspen/Maroon Bells, Colorado, area. We stopped here to find this cache, and take the hike up to Linkins Lake. A bit off trail, but easily found.
