After dropping my son off for flag football I had to run to the bank for the game. On the way to the bank I had to make a slight detour to grab a cache. Saturday morning isn't exactly the best time to go snooping around trees but it was early enough that most people hadn't arrived for games.

Once my GPS calmed down I was able to focus on the right tree. I didn't want to hang around too long so I gave myself just a couple minutes to search. And thankfully I chose the right angle because once I really started to search I spotted it quite quickly for this type of hide.

Unfortunately the log was a soggy mess and I didn't have a replacement on me. So I took a picture of the log and attached it here.

We headed south to spend the day picking up caches that we didn't get the last time we were down here while attending an event. Took a couple of minutes to finally nab this well hidden smiley. Found cache cross threaded and log wet. Dried off as much as possible and put container back properly. SL,TFTC
