You can approach these:

Uphill you can either take Jack's Cruel Joke to Hermit Placer and there is a small  steep wooden bridge for MTBs to go up the BLine trail.
Or you can take Carter Park steps and then a right on Hermit Placer to the small steep wooden bridge.

If you want to start out going downhill, you can take Moonstone Rd to Moonstone trail.

Either way, you will have to do some uphill climb as stage one is downhill from stage two.  :)

This is my first multic-cache.  I am just fascinated by this MTB trail.  It takes some serious guts, to me, to want to ride a bike on this, but we always pass 4 or 5 bikes every time we hike this trail. It is filled with blue and a couple fo black obstacles and bridges to get to the bottom of this on a bike.
I placed two caches near to my two favorite bridge obstacles.
If you happen to be going on the trail during the third week of August every year, you will be on the Breck Trail Mix route, where you will see an art installation (which as of this writing still has the one from Aug 2016 still up) and once a day, there will be s small musical concert.

You are looking for two small snap and lock boxes.  I highly doubt you will find these once the snow hits, but it won't be impossible, you will just have to dig. smiley  I walk the trail often during the winter, as the phat bikes have become popular and made this a very accessbile trail in the winter time.

This is a wicked awesome mountain bike trail, with lots of man-made bridges and obstacles. I found the bridges fascinating, They look scary as all get out, if you ask me. They are impressively engineered and I hope other geocachers are as impressed as I am. These two caches highlight my favorite two of the bridges.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to get my GPS to narrow the search down. It had me traipsing back and forth between the 2 cool bridges about 75 feet away from each other--with a ton of rocks and trees in between. I felt like I looked in every hidey hole I could find, but still couldn't come up with the first cache. It's probably still there--best of luck to the next searcher!

Definitely a challenge, as the GPS jumps around. But fun finding two caches!
Note: I would suggest only accessing B-Line from Moonstone, not Hermit Placer. B-Line is a one way down hill trail that is primarily used by bikers.

Yay! Probably/hopefully will be the last find until Spring (because hopefully the snow starts dumping soon!). Thanks for the tour of those awesome bike trails! Can't wait to hit them in the summer!
