#4 and last one of my clock-wise hike of the DeCaLiBron combo (omitting Mt.Bross). Found quickly with help of the hint (would be next to impossible without). All fine. Cache in good condition.

Our 1st cache of the day. We woke at 5:00 a.m. in an attempt to beat some of the Labor Day crowds hiking up the mountains on this Sunday morning. Even though we arrived at the trailhead by 6:15, the parking lot was already full, and the overflow was filling up the shoulders of the access road. We had a 0.21 mile hike to the trailhead, grabbed our parking fee sticker, then walked back down the hill to put it on our windshield, then back up the hill to the trailhead. We had not even started hiking the loop yet, and we were already 0.7 miles and 400' of climbing into the hike.

We were on the trail just after sunset. We decided to take the outlaw route and climb Mt. Bross first to avoid some of the crowds. This proved to be a wise move, and it also may be the easier direction as well. I cannot imagine the challenge of coming down the scree from the other direction.

Definitely a steep climb to where the cache is located. Scout has some fear of heights on these types of slopes, so she was a little slower reaching the blank sign. Found the cache right where it should be and then we continued on up the mountain. Many thanks.

Found it at 20170830-09:14. Fourth attempt to summit Mount Bross was finally successful. (1) blown off the mountain so turned around, (2) in a blizzard so turned around, and (3) hiking with another person who wanted to turn around.

Found the cache exactly as in the description. Cache was in good shape and the log was dry. My GPS unit read 13490 at the geocache location. TFTC!
