Looked for a long time on both sides of the stream. Read logs and the hint and chased those geese for a while too but no love :-( It IS a long way to come for a DNF

Out caching today for a few targeted caches! Had a blast though I am extremely exhausted right now. The hike to the powerplant from Skaguay was NO JOKE. I am in decent hiking / endurance shape and my route ended up charting over 13.6 miles and an elevation gain of just over 4000'. 9 hours and 20 minutes later, I was back in the car needing a beer!
Like everyone else, I was completely in the wrong neck of the woods! I followed their instructions and ended up at the marker. I was wondering if this was one of the objects left by those who got themselves in trouble down here (http://actionmatrix.com/Trails/SkaguayPowerPlant/html/Skaguary.htm)...
Either way, I finally discovered what I needed to do. It took me two trips up to the wall before finally getting the correct sight alignment and picture I needed. That marker really aims to the left to hit to the right :)
My coordinates for the marker are N 38 38.553 W 105 02.888. I know I didnt have a lot of time to be looking since I planned on doing Skaguay to the Power Plant in one day and ALMOST had to give up on this one.
A favorite for sure. Cache and marker are in perfect shape! Thanks for placing!

This was the toughest find of the day mostly because it's hard to get a good reading in the area. The "marker" was 80-100 north of GZ for us. Thanks to Adrenaline Junkie for his perfect aim. TFTC

We missed thia one on the way in, but were determined to come up with it on the way out. And sure enough with some good teamwork we were successful, FYI, my GPS said, I was 63 feet northwest of GZ at the cache site. Thanks to whomever placed the "marker", as that and the clue made a challenging task a little easier. Pictures to follow TFTH!!
