My son's and I were camping in a nice campsite near this cache and wanted to hide a cache. This seemed like a nice location to place one. There is a pull out near by with great views of the mountains. The campsite was really nice as well.

I can't get over the lack of caches in this area. We fealt it was time to add some.

This cache is traditional ammo can. Be careful, the trees may play havoc with your gps a bit.

Happy July 4th. The cache is in great condition. It was a bit sunken into rotten wood but now covered with larger natural cover

Took a drive from BV intending to pick up a few cache's on Shrine Pass. You certainly were right about the trees and the GPS, my Garmin had me going from one end to the other. Finally I said "what looks like a good location for a regular sized cache". Geosense will usually do the trick. TFTC
