If you came to see the Siamese Twins, you should really take this 0.7-mile side-trail (the Cabin Canyon Trail)

It offers some pretty amazing views of the area.

This trail is generally considered an easy route that takes an average of 18 minutes to complete. And only has 95 feet of elevation gain.

Yesterday when I saw another nearby cache had been published, I went for it and added this one by the same cache owner to my hunting list. It was a quick find just below an excellent viewpoint, so I took my time to enjoy both that and the pleasure of signing the log sheet :-) Even though the traffic and parking was quite crowded on this holiday weekend, I saw very few people during my hike along this trail. A hearty thank you to EJKPBR for another nice cache, you have been an excellent addition to our local geocaching community!!

FTF! Found this morning at 09:25 on the way to drop my car off for service. It probably took longer to drive here, park, and then walk than it would have to just walk from my house. The north half of the Cabin Caņon loop trail is one of my favorites in the park. Lots of places to step off the trail to relax and enjoy the unique rocks. TFTC!
