Dogs  Scenic view  Available during winter  Dangerous Animals  Cliff / falling rocks  Not Wheelchair accessible  Parking available  Not Stroller accessible  Short hike (less than 1km)

I was hiking along this side trail after visiting the Siamese Twins and decided that there should be a few caches out here.

The views along this trail are pretty spectacular.

I had originally hidden this cache up on top of the rocks, but I learned that you are not allowed to place caches that far off the trails.

So I moved it to this location. Be careful of the drop off just a few feet to the west of this cache.

Also, be wary of dangerous animals while in the park. I almost stepped on a rattlesnake that was sunning itself in the middle of the trail.

(I thought that every stick and root I saw was a snake after seeing the very real snake.)

Congratulations!!!! FTF!!! hartsdale!!! FTF!!!

Rattlesnakes? In GoG's? What does the photo say .... .. I thought they all left back in 2003, lol. Maybe this was the same snake, lmao

Yesterday when I saw this had been published, and knew I would not be able to do the hunt until today, I figured a first to find was probably not in the cards. Sure enough, upon pulling out the log sheet I saw the king of firsts in his usual top spot :-) Regardless it was great to get out for a short hike, so thanks to EJKPBR for placing this nice one that provided an enjoyable geocaching experience!!

FTF!

I didn’t have a chance to head this way for a couple hours after this one had published to take a look

I was not only surprised that the log was blank, with a few others hiking looking for the Twins. ( wrong trail )

They had a pretty good map but missed Pikes Peak being West ?

Anyway, thanks for getting me off the couch and outside for some exercise!

STF! This is my first second-to-find. I thought I was early enough to be my first first-to-find because I hadn't seen any logs online, until I saw that hartsdale signed the physical cache before I did. I forgot to bring a pen (yikes), so please take my picture of hartsdale's signature as proof. Thanks for the cache! Got me up and running this morning.
