This is a traditional geocache. It is a yellow container with black writings. It is a Spearmint container. At the coordiates will find a beautiful view and if you look a round there is a small mount of rocks; about 4 feet high. The container is hidden under one of the top rocks to keep it in place.

We are using the Leadville area as our basecamp for hiking adventures over the long Labor Day weekend. This was our 3rd 14er in three days. Thursday we drove to the summit of Mt. Evans after landing at the airport. Yesterday, we climbed Mt. Elbert. Since we were a bit sore today, we did an "easier" hike to Mt. Sherman. Arrived at the Iowa Gulch trailhead at 8:00 and reached the summit in about 90 minutes. Thought there would be only a few others on the trail until we reached the ridge and saw the huge crowd climbing the mountain from the other direction. There were probably 100-150 people from the saddle up to the summit taking advantage of the weekend and good weather. A large crowd snapping photos on top. After descending back to the saddle, we decided the weather still looked descent, so we made the quick detour to Mt. Sheridan to bag a 13er as well. There was no one else on Sheridan, which made it much more enjoyable than the crowded Sherman. Many thanks.

Out on a Colorado adventure with MissPiggyBacker. After trudging up the switchbacks to reach the saddle, I was surprised to see this cache so close! We decided to come and search for it real quick before taking a snack break prior to tackling the summit of what was also our first fourteener. The hint is no longer applicable as we learned, so make sure to look at the pictures from the person who replaced this! I also made a tiny little cairn next to the proper rock so that should help. Excellent views from an excellent spot up here on this saddle :) TFTC!

Hiked Mt. Sherman with PayMeCache. Hit the peak for sunrise and a breakfast beer. The view was amazing. After contacting the CO, we replaced this cache on our descent. TFTC.
