It's a fairly steep climb up the trail to this cache.

The smoke had cleared enough today that I could get a hike in---and had the WHOLE MOUNTAIN to myself (love that)! Thanks for giving me a reason to take this cool trail today and TFTC BigSmile.

Hit the trail with "animjason", on a hot and hazy day - we walked up the hill, and then back down - this was the first of four geocaches that we found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Hey little buddy!

Quick grab with Bhob, and a local who was hiking and wanted to check out this cache. This was fun.

BearAdair didn't join us on the hike, she stayed with Sissadies due to teething grumpies. Glad I didn't need to carry her on this hike.

Thanks cajrrman! Logged Gilligan from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

FTF! I grabbed this guy on my way back down the mountain, after avenging a prior snow bound DNF. As soon as I got to the GZ I heard a crazy shrieking scream from the sky and just then a Coopers Hawk swept down, legs down, talons out and almost grabbed a rabbit at my feet. It all happened so quick! I think I startled the hawk, which gave the bunny enough time to take cover in the rock next to GZ. The bird flew within a few feet of my face, and I could feel the air from it's wings! The bunny lived to see another hour, and I stamped my name in pole position! Some people go the the gym on their lunch break, I went caching and grabbed three tough smileys in under an hour! TFTC Cajrrman!
