This is a replacement cache for one that was lost and archived -- I loved the history though, so I went looking for a place to re-hide it and low and behold, I found the original within 3 feet of the original coordinates..
Because the cache was already archived, I decided to go ahead and adopt the original place and tube! So I fixed the coordinates and am re-listing it. The original cache was hidden in May, 2010 and had been logged 13 times "found" and 6 times "DNF" -- my suggestion to those who couldn't find it -- try looking where you might hid a cache! :-)
Small camo bison tube with log only -- BYOP! --
Info taken from the previous cache "Just below this cache site was once a beautiful ranch where famous horses were raised. First it was the Tipton ranch, but Mr. Tipton was put in the penitentiary for killing his neighbor over water rights. The ranch was then sold to Coke Roberds (1870-1960) who is known as one of the fathers of the American Quarter Horse breed. Coke Roberds came to this country from Texas and brought with him Steel Dust mares which were the foundation of the AQHA. Coke Roberds was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame. He sold the ranch and moved into Hayden, but died in New Mexico."
This cache MAY be accessible in the winter -- although it would depend on how deep the snowbanks are. It would be about 1/10th of a mile off the main plowed road on RCR 80 -- do it depends on how far it's plowed and how deep the snow is!
