Checking on caches today. This one has been in same location since 2011, its in good condition.
Its amazing it has not grown legs and moved from where it was placed.

Okay, hasn't been found in almost 4 years, a 2 difficulty in a Jake cache, and logs saying they had to expand out to get it. I had little hope of spotting it. We searched 45 minutes before I threw in the towel. I'm logging this DNF waiting for my wife to give up. She is much more tenacious than I am, which is why she spots most of Jake's caches. Cool spot. Just too many places for it to be. Hope it's still there.

Thought this one would be quick when we drove up to the area. Our GPSrs zeroed together and it looked good for a quick find ... well as time passed it became more apparent that a the quick find was getting farther and farther out of reach. As we expanded our search outward, the hiding places grew exponentially and our hopes were fading for any find at all. We like the search, but almost gave up on this one. With persistence we finally located the container and big sighs were emitted by all four of us.
Cache is in good condition ... plenty of room in the log (He! He!) ... and we replaced it where we found it. Thanks jake for another fun puzzle and hide.
