Not for the flatlanders or roadside cachers. Easy hide with the fun in getting to cache. Log, pencil and small items located at 9095 feet elevation.
Drove 4 wheeler within 200 yards of cache site. Short hike up game trail which is rocky and steep. Venture off game trail cross country for the final few yards to cache site. Hardscrabble area with outstanding views and wildlife. Seen a couple of badgers on the way... haven't seen one in a long long time. Container is in the name, batteries are not included.

Left the one-wheel-drive at the bottom. Quick find once I made it to GZ. I like these remote caches.

What a fun off road adventure to get here! Steep and beautiful hike, I can't believe we didn't see any cows up here with all of the cow poop!

Wear close toed shoes, there are lots of cacti!

We stopped at GZ for lunch. Thanks for the fun adventure!

Great time and fantastic views. Going up Spring Creek Road is the way to go.

Now there's an adventure! Me and my Suzi 4wd drove about 3.5 miles of dirt but I was really looking for a hike today. So when I got just under a mile from the cache (straight line distance) I left Suzi and went bush whacking uphill. Ugh! Seriously steep! Over 1000' elevation gain in .8 mile. About 3/4 way up, horror of all horrors!, I realized I didn't have a pen! Praying for one in the cache. Yay! Found a slightly easier way back. Got a short but gnarly hike in. Left a dollar for the next intrepid cacher. Thanks!
