It all begins in kindergarten....

Do you remember being 5 and the excitement you felt as you entered
kindergarten? A whole new world is started with school; all new
experiences, friends, teachers. Our oldest son is beginning kindergarten
this year and all summer, his excitement has grown. Now, here we are a
week away. We have been back to school shopping, reading about
kindergarten, and counting down the days. After discovering Geo caching
this summer and enjoy the time together as a family with this great
game, we decided what a great way to memorialize Jeremiah's 1st day of
Kindergarten. So, we went and got some of the things everyone in
kindergarten uses and put this cache together. Please use this time at
this cache to remember what life was like for you when you were in
kindergarten. Do you remember your teacher's name, some of the friends
you made, playing on the monkey bars, coloring outside of the lines? We
are so proud of Jeremiah and thankful for all of the joy he has brought
to our lives. We look forward to watching him grow as he goes through
school. Congratulations Jeremiah you are a big boy now!!!

I found this cache today while hiking in the area. Beautiful morning! This container is actually in decent shape despite what is in the previous log says and everything in it is dry although the logbook has been wet previously. Nice hiding place.

Found it last weekend - just before July 4th - 2018. Used this fairly easy cache to introduce brother- and sister-in-law to geocaching. Nothing like a fun find to make a good intro to a new activity! Container is now like a cottage cheese tub or something like that --- not sealed too well - everything inside was totally soggy.... But it was there! We left a little Meerkat in there...

Out catching and jeeping with donk97. Found the cache, but the log book and contents are damp. Could use a new and studier container to withstand the severe winters here. SL

We went to check on Geocache. It made it fine through the winter and is ready to be found.

We went to check on Geocache and found it was gone and a fire ring was in it's place so we moved to new location close by and placed a new cache.
