The cache is near, but not at, the listed coordinates.

I thought I've been concentrating on the sciences too much, so here's one for the humanities aficionados. Cache is multistage with a mini-container (larger than a micro) for the final. All stages are within a short distance of one another, and take you to what I call small versions of our neighboring state's famous geologic features.

For an easier and more scenic approach to the 2nd(final) waypoint, take the trail up to the right. Also, in years past, there were signs warning of rattlesnakes in the area. Those evidently have been replaced by warnings of larger predators.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

6-9-17 The final has disappeared twice now so I put the final at what used to be the 2nd stage. The cache is now a mini decon container. Continue a little further west on the ridge for good views and a neat rock arch.

We also needed a bit of help from the CO. Today we made the short hike to GZ. All is well with the container and log. Tftc.

What a perfect winter day to be out in this beautiful open space. Both stages in great shape even though hadn’t been found for over a year. Thanks for the nudge on the puzzle from the CO and a nice hike.

TFTH. I have the coordinates right, but when I stopped by with a friend over Spring Break, we couldn't even find the place the hint described. Will have to try again soon.

Interesting puzzle. We enjoyed the hike going after this one today, even in light rain. Quick find. Signed log and returned as found. Thanks for the cache.

Logging this as found with the gracious permission of the cache owner since the final was missing. I enjoyed exploring a new area :) Thanks for adopting and maintaining this one.

The final went missing again. I put a replacement where the second stage used to be and that is now the final. Go a little west on the ridge for the best view and a neat rock arch.

I'll try to get up there to check on it next week.

Well, I generally hesitate to say a cache is missing since it could be just as likely that I didn't find it :) But I found stages 1 and 2, and upon reaching the area of the final was pretty sure it wasn't there. After seeing the area, I went home and studied the hint and I had looked there, but I went back today just to check again. Maybe I missed it, but it seems as if the final is gone.

Out for a hike this morning to look for this one.

At the final I found a flim can behide the rock, with a stamp at the top of the log?

( might give it a look see )

Thanks for keeping it going!

Went to check on this one today and all was good up until the final. It was missing but has now been replaced with a mini decon container. I'll update the hint.

I had these coords stored for quite a while. I think I made my first attempt when Hiking Fool was still the co of the cache. After it was adopted I watched for a note saying she had checked on it or someone had found it. Now that is has been found I headed back out to try again. A phone battery running low, no flashlight, and getting dark. Not the best way to start a hike, but since I was here I was determined to find it. I think my guardian angel helped me out. The cache was laying out in the open. I placed it back where it seems it should go and removed the candy in it. The log needs to be replaced it's become very brittle. Sorry, didn't bring the geobag with me today. Tftc!

Thanks for the amazing cache! I worked this one out a day or two back and made the trek today. Fun puzzle to get started. These days technology really makes it easy. It was a dreary drizzly day, but I was in the mood for a nice little hike. I found a parking spot right next to stage one. I found it quickly and got the coordinates to the next stage. It's starting to show its age and I had to make a good guess on the west coords. The hike to the second stage was great! Lots of awesome views along the way. Quick find at stage two and I had the final coords. Another nice hike through some amazing terrain! I found the final quickly as well. Cache is in great shape and the log is perfectly dry. This is right up there with some of my favorite urban caches. Loved all the sights, terrain, and views. This is definitely a favorite! Thanks for creating this fun puzzle and multi!
