GrammiesGeoFun and Grobert on our trek across America working on our list of contiguous counties. We are enjoying the ride through an area we lived near 25 years ago. Wonderful location for a hide. We appreciate the thought and effort that goes into creating these hides. Thank you for giving the rest of us a challenge. Practiced some CITO.

Day 5 of an epic 6 day journey out to the western frontier. I had some vacation time that I needed to burn up by the end of the year, and what better way to use it than to go Geocaching! My main goal was to find caches in New Mexico and Nevada, which would complete my map in the western US. The rest of the 4 remaining states are on the East Coast. Secondary goals were to find oldies, mostly virtuals, and high favorited caches. The only bad part of the trip was that it rained every single day of my vacation.

I headed south out of MN on Sunday and returned home on Friday.
Sunday - Drive all the way through to Colorado (15 hours!)
Monday - Cache in and around Denver and Colorado Springs, with an attempt at Pike's Peak (closed at Mile 14)
Tuesday - Head south towards GC19 and then west through Wolf Creek Pass
Wednesday - Four Corners monument and west towards Nevada
Thursday - After a night in Richfield, UT, head east through the skiing areas of Colorado towards Nebraska
Friday - The long drive home

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for me to find and for keeping the oldies going all these years.

This was a very cool and cute virtual

Heading from Kansas City to California to see the granddaughters. Had to drive so we could pick up a few more counties. Left Burlington, CO, this morning and ended in Salina, UT. Got to see western Colorado for the first time. Went from temps in the low 60s to the mid 90s during the course of the day. Grabbed quite a few virtual and traditional caches. Great day and great caching.

Cool object. Had to get a picture with it.

Thanks for the smiley.

Visiting from Florida and decided to pick up this virtual; not too many people out and around on a Sunday. Cool art! Answers have been sent. Thanks for the virtual. A fav point.

Nice one. So much fun!

This cache is helping me raise today's overall total to 26, the number of caches necessary to turn a given square in the 366 grid a second shade darker. The first such change occurs at 11 caches, and I've already done that for the entire grid. 26 caches is a whole 'nuther ballgame. Wish me luck! And thanks for the cache!

We're on a trip from Michigan to see some midwest and western states. We're having a great time. We stayed nearby for a couple of nights to take a break from driving, and did a few caches in the area. This is so cute! Thanks for placing this cache. Messaged CO. TFTC

This year’s trip is a hunt for old caches.
I want to complete my forth lap and the rest of the gang is aiming for there first.
On the schedule are Mingo, Arikaree, Tarryall and a few other old ones then will we finish with Potters Pond.
So far have we avoided the bad weather and the tropical storm Alberto passed us.
