From US 40 after mile marker 232, turn onto Grand Cnty Rd. 80, there is a sign titled, "The Moffat Hill Route". Take a minute to read the sign to get some background on the area. Follow this road until you reach FR 149. Follow FR 149 and let your GPS guide you.Bushwacking is required from the road for approx. .5 miles. For you flatlanders, there is an altitude change of 150 ft. at 11,000+.
This cache is accessable with all modes of transportation in the summer including 2 wd. During the winter months the road is closed and only accessable by snowmobile (or other snow bound forms of transportation). This cache is snow friendly and NOT impossible to find in the winter.
