This cache is named for the simple fact that Dog Mountain is to the West and well the water part is yours to discover! ON PUBLIC LAND! This is a rougher road so, I do recommend a higher clearance vehicle. The easiest route is from Rifle Range Rd. Roughly 6 miles east of the town of Del Norte. Along the way you may also encounter multiple other caches in the area. The container is a solid black tube, about 3" in length and about .5" in diameter. This is a log only so be sure to have a writing utensil handy. Good park and grab.
