We hide this cache to celebrate Miles' starting Kindergarten this year. The cache is located in a nice hiking area on Loveland Pass. The cache will not be accessable in the winter months due to snow coverage.

Although we've traveled loveland pass several times, we didn't realize there was a parking area here. Pretty lake and lovely little hike to the cache. Once at GZ it was a quick find. Regrettably the trackable listed in the inventory is not in the cache. But the cache itself is in excellent condition. T a football helmet keychain. L: a RV team button. SL T4TSmile

I stood up on the peak above and thought maybe I could fithe one down by the ponds. Sure has gotten cold up here. I finally found something higher than Brianshead, though. There has been way too much searching, as high as Quandary and some in the Sierra around 13.6k and those four up above here.

I thought no way could there be a full size cache hidden there but sure enough there was. A beautiful & peaceful spot worlds away from the congested Pass area. I lived in Summit County for three years and never remembered seeing these alpine lakes or parking area. 30 plus years later It's about time I did thanks to geocaching.
I dropped a TB.
