Our 4th cache of the day. We are using the Leadville area as our basecamp for hiking adventures over the long Labor Day weekend. This morning, we began hiking Mt. Elbert at 4:45 a.m. and reached the summit by 8:00. After returning to the trailhead, we drove back to our rental in town for a much needed soak in the hot tub. This was a quick detour along the way. Interesting, but still a bit creepy of a structure. Quick find. Thanks.
