Didn't find it. At third attempt sure I found the correct trail with stunning views. Was exhilarating. Sadly I could not convert feet to metres in my head as I forgot the conversion and had no Internet access. After I converted on my return I was looking in vaguely the correct area so my mental conversion was not too far out after all. Sadly I did not find it but I did enjoy the climb and the view.

Frown This was our own fault. I have never done this before, and trying to figure it out. Also knowing that caches are usually along a trail. I think a)we chose the wrong trail... and b) we figured out AFTER we gave up and came back in, that we were about 8 degrees off. NOT a big deal at 10' from the starting point, but at 425 feet from the starting point its quite a distance off.

Mahnoor and I wanted to go back and try again, but without any support from the rest of the camp never made it back out... Sadness. Oh well, it has been fun getting back into geocaching.. Guess you win some and you lose some.

Wow! What a great cache! This was also my first offset cache. The first part was a bit tough for a Florida boy, as I had just hiked Charity down at RTR this morning. As previous logs stated, log book was very wet. TNLNSL, TFTC
