Short Trail off Middle Creek Road on the edge of the Rio Grande River.

Our Grandson loves to ride our 4wheeler to this spot to skip rocks, look for foxes that we see almost nightly crossing to and from the Rio Grande river here and of course chat with the many squirrels that make this spot home. There are lots of goodies inside for a first to find. A trackable we want to go traveling. Some cool survival tools. Another trackable for the first to find to own and send on its way. Cool backpacking/explorer tools. We love Creede and Lake City area and have a cabin here in the area but this is our very first Geocache offering of the physical type. It's a great place to fly fish as well.

What a fun place, our geo-dog loved all the critters. We found the cache with a little effort and signed the log, put some toys in and re-hid the cache. We were happy to find a Travel bug in the cache and will move it along as soon as we can. Thanks for the cache.

TFTC. It was 70 feet off as stated earlier so we were able to find it.

Finally found it after geospouse spotted it. Coordinates about 70 feet off. Some scrambling is required. TFTC as this is a beautiful spot.
This is your second cache that we goind today and there is 1 more by the bridge where we are camped. Will get that one in the morning. Your cabin must be close by, eh?
Appreciate the traditional cache as i hate the micros.
Nothing was in the cache except log. I left 3 little swags as i had them in my pocket.

Definitely still in place, though nearly cleaned out. Do folks not understand that cache contents are for trade? SLTNLN. Thanks for the hide - very cool location! Planning to come back with my tenkara rod ...
