This geocache is a bit harder. You will need to solve a puzzle to get to the coordinates. Please leave everything thing the way you found it please. You will have to do a little walking to get to the final container. This is a travel bug hotel so bring a trackable. Also bring some swag for the swag bag. Please take as much trackable as you want or places as much as you want. Watch for muggles because in the summertime it can be busy with all the rafters and campers. Bring your own pen or pencil because the final container is micro. There is picnic tables and bathrooms nearby. Also you can camp there if you would like to. Have fun and good luck!

Scout and Finance Guy have enjoyed a long five-day weekend in the Buena Vista area. Unfortunately, we leave for home tomorrow. BV is one of our favorite places in Colorado, and CR371 is one of the most scenic roads in the state in our opinion. We love running out and back on this road early in the morning before the traffic picks up. This afternoon, we drove out to check out the river, see the tunnels, and of course, find a couple of geocaches.

Found stage one quickly enough, but took us a couple of minutes to decypher the puzzle. Eventually got the stage two coordinates and found the cute little guy tucked away. Many thanks.

{*FTF*} Thank you so much for placing this cache here. It was a fun little adventure on my long caching day. I managed to find 15 caches today, which qualifies me for the September Geo-Challenge of the month.
When I finally found the first stage I figured out the puzzle and when I went to enter the combo, it was already set with the exact combo I thought it might be. Then I was confused when I opened the cache. There were trackables inside this stage. I thought maybe this was the final after all. Then I noticed the next coords written on the inside of the lid.
So off I went to the final. When I got to the final, the cache was just sitting in the open on the top of the host. (I'm a little confused by the hint that says your favorite color is silver when the cache is actually purple) I put the cache back on the host and placed a rock in front of it so it is less likely to get muggled.
This FTF was my 104th consecutive month with at least one FTF.
My 369th total FTFs.
The 49th county I have gotten an FTF in
And the 11th Colorado County

Thank you kittyfireworks for placing and maintaining "TB hotel by the Riverside brige " for me to find and log. Sunday September 1, 2024 10:35 AM
