Dear Ethan,
What a beautiful cache and a gorgeous walk to find it in the Sunday evening sunshine and through the sun dappled woodland.
Definitely worth coming all the way across the Atlantic and all the way up from Denver to be the first to find this one - and perfect for my wife Gazania Rigens, who has a streak of a First To Find each month; so to find this on the First of September is just perfect!
As a “thank you” she has dropped off a fine geocoin trackable for you to look at and pass on.
We didn’t take the Denver-bound trackable as we are heading on on the wrong direction, to sample more geological and natural glories towards and, of course, at the Yellowstone caldera where we hope the slumbering volcano will slumber on for a looooong time to come...
Thank you to you and your family for this great cache.
Perfect camo, by the way, and I hope there’s no trace of peanut scent on the cache or those naughty little chipmunks may come a runnin’ and a munchin’!
??

Joint [FTF] with Zouave at 18.00 on this beautiful sunny day. We arrived in Denver after a long flight from London, England, last night. Today we went to the summit of Mount Evans and over Loveland Pass. We are not used to the thin air up here yet, so even the gentle stroll up to this cache made us puff a bit. Our phones had no signal in the forest and we had to trust the offline data. The coordinates were jumping a lot and there were plenty of possible host items, but Zouave used his cacher's nose and found the nicely camouflaged container. I left a trackable that might want to go back to Oregon. Thanks for showing us this nice hike. Tftc!
