Though Delta, CO enjoys a number of wonderful murals commissioned by the city, there are also a few non-traditional “murals”.  Some were commissioned by private citizens or businesses, some a group project, and some we haven’t discovered the story, yet…if you know, let us in on it!

This morning's mission was to do all of the mural caches in Delta (plus any others we encountered along the way). We had a great time and really enjoyed the murals even though we had a couple of DNFs. Nice hide. SL. TFTC

We came to Delta last year and decoded all of the COM series but had to come back to get to all the final spots. This is a great and creative series!

This mural was right across from the bear in the tree! We must have looked odd, counting pieces of the mural while they stared at the bear. Good hide! sl TFTC

Caching in Delta with PeachBob while his truck is being serviced. We decided to go for the Mural multi caches. These were really fun, and has us going all over town for the second stages. TFTC SL as TSS.

We really enjoyed the murals and these fun multi's. Our car GPS did not have the updated maps so we ended up making several u turns because of all the new traffic revisions, but we got a nice tour of the town and had a lot of fun. Thanks for showing us these murals. S/L M&D
