Takes more than an hour  Scenic view  Seasonal Access

Our son relocated to La Veta from California four years ago. We were visiting and talking about putting a couple of caches out. He started in with his evil laugh…and this cache was born.
Road to cache...

To get to the cache take FS 436-436A for about 2.5 miles beyond Blue Lake. You will need a horse, an ATV, 4WD, or you can hike. There are incredible views up here at 12,033 feet.
Parking(N37 17.688 W105 09.241)...

Please replace cache as found so it doesn't blow away in the fierce winds.

Made a second trip up this trail...this time in a 4wd vehicle. Needless to say, it took far less time! :)
