Enjoy a pleasant hike through pines and aspen in a little used Clear Creek County Open Space.

Cache is in plain sight but hidden from the elements.

The parking at the trailhead is very limited - 2-3 vehicles.
In the vicinity of Crocodile Rock the trail splits. You can go either way for a loop hike. The trail to the left is gentler.
The hike will be about 2 miles round trip with approximately 800 foot elevation gain.

I'm going to count this as a find. I found the cache container right at GZ but unfortunately it was empty. I've put a tiny log in it & hope that it will last. I will send a photo to the CO.

I looked for this one twice. I thought I knew from the clue what might be there, but you are more clever than I. It was a great hike and I really appreciate having the caches in this area.

Made a quick trip to Saddleback Mountain to pick up these caches today. Thanks! This is a really nice area, and I was pleasantly surprised that the road was paved all the way to the trailhead. Looks like a trail crew has done a lot of work here with lumber steps/water bars.
